A non-return air valve, also known as a check valve or one-way valve, is a mechanical device used to allow the flow of air (or any fluid or gas) in one direction while preventing it from flowing in the opposite direction. It ensures that air or other substances move through a system in a controlled manner, avoiding backflow or reverse flow.
